A lot of social content exists just to be seen.

The brands that win do something different. They entertain, they participate in culture, and they engage with what’s happening right now. They are raw, real, and authentic. If it feels scripted, staged, or safe? They simply don’t do it. That is the bar here. And we are looking for someone who understands that bar, and reaches it.

United Playgrounds is a digital agency group of about 200 people, featuring labels like livewall, DNZ, and Fitzroy. We work as one team on the same brief — strategists, creatives, designers, and developers. No hand-offs between people who think and people who make. Social content is a core proposition here, with its own formats, clients, and approach. The 9292 TikTok that reached millions of views? That was made here. Kruidvat’s duo job applications? Also here.

You will work on social content for brands like Albert Heijn, 9292, and Picnic. You devise scalable formats not just loose posts, but sustainable concepts that entertain and trigger interaction, rather than interrupting the scroll. And then you create it yourself, from script to edit. 

You signal what is happening on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. You know what is trending, and you also know why it works. You actively bring those insights to the table, even when no one asks. 

You collaborate with strategists and designers, but the creative direction is yours. Sometimes you create it yourself, sometimes you work with a production team or involve the client’s staff. What never changes: the hook is in the first three seconds, and you know exactly how to get there.

You have a portfolio. Not a CV full of bullet points, but work that shows you can create something that actually performs.

  • You live on social and understand what works on each platform

  • You can come up with concepts and execute them yourself

  • You have a strong sense of pacing, music and rhythm, whether you edit yourself or direct others

  • You think in formats and series

  • You are not afraid to try things that have not been proven yet

  • A role where you actually get to create;

  • A team of strategists, creatives, and developers who also 'get it';

  • Salary starting from €2,750 (based on 40 hours);

  • Tilburg as your home base, with regular visits to Amsterdam.
