Social Strategy Lead

Lead social & content strategy across our agency group. Build the ecosystem. Own the outcome.

We're looking for a Social Strategy Lead to take ownership of social & content across United Playgrounds. You'll build a cross-disciplinary hub spanning our agency labels, connecting strategy with execution to create work that's culturally relevant and drives measurable results.

As Social Strategy Lead, you are the strategic link between brand, culture, platform and creation. You connect strategy and execution, building one coherent social & content ecosystem across all labels within United Playgrounds.

This is a pioneer role. Social & content is a core proposition where the expertise of livewall, DNZ and Fitzroy comes together. All the ingredients are here. What we need is someone who takes ownership and builds it further.

You'll move between agencies and work regularly in both Tilburg and Amsterdam.

Strategy & systems thinking

  • Translate brand and campaign platforms into concrete social ecosystems.

  • Define the role of each channel (organic & paid) and maintain coherence.

  • Think in formats, frameworks and scalability, not one-off assets.

Creative & social strategy (paid & organic)

  • Turn big campaign ideas into social-first executions.

  • Build content architectures with a focus on the consideration phase.

  • Work from cultural and human insights, not just best practices.

  • Write sharp briefings and direct creatives and creators on substance.

Client-facing & ownership

  • Act as a full strategic partner for clients at senior level.

  • Present convincingly and practically: strategy that works tomorrow.

  • Spot opportunities, take initiative and own the outcome.

Building what's next

  • Take the cross-label social & content hub to the next level.

  • Contribute to pitches, cases and positioning.

  • Connect people and expertise across labels.

  • Step onto external stages if it suits you: awards, events, social.

Leadership

  • Provide strategic and creative direction to the social & content team.

  • Set pace, make decisions and build momentum.

  • Get the best out of people through clarity, trust and clear frameworks.

  • Set a high bar on quality, collaboration and results.

You don't need to have held this exact role for years. But you do need to be ready to take ownership and build something.

What you bring

  • Significant experience as a social, content or creative strategist (agency side).

  • Social-first thinking and deep understanding of modern platforms and formats.

  • Strong systems thinking combined with a feel for creativity, culture and timing.

  • The ability to switch between strategy, creation and client.

  • A hands-on, curious and ambitious attitude.

  • The drive to build structures, formats and ways of working that last.

How you work

  • You continuously think about efficiency, speed and scalability.

  • You have a clear vision on the role of AI and tooling in content production.

  • You spot opportunities to organise creation in a modular, repeatable way, without killing the craft.
