Nine. That’s how many United Playgrounds colleagues are on the nomination list for the DigitalAgency100 2027, Marketing Report’s list of the 100 most influential people in the Dutch digital agency sector. Four of those nine come from our own team.
Where it started
In 2011, our founders Eelco van de Wiel and Frits Mahovic had one idea: technology and creativity shouldn’t work side by side, but together. That idea became livewall. And it didn’t stop there. Over the years, they have founded several companies together, including Cape, Mach8, Wave and United Playgrounds.
The creative directors
Tim Aarts and Tim Schellekens, our Creative Directors, are on the list too. For over three years, they’ve helped shape how our work looks and feels. It’s great to see that this is noticed outside our office as well.

The industry decides
No jury behind closed doors: the DigitalAgency100 is decided by the industry itself. Research agency MediaTest asks thousands of industry professionals who they consider most influential. The curtain falls on 1 December, when the final list will be revealed at the M100 Event in the Stadsschouwburg Utrecht.
